Catalysts to Watch

· There is a huge interest in the German vote in both houses of Parliament tomorrow regarding Germany's contribution to the European Stabilisation Mechanism.  We expect the legislation to pass in both houses of Parliament.  JPMorgan’s G Fuzesi. 

· Dodd Cloture vote #2 – tentatively has been scheduled for 2:30pmET today

· Congressional hearing on the May 6 market plunge on Thurs. 

· In Europe, Portugal has a bond payment on May 20. 

· Spain bond auction – will sell up to EU3.5B in 4% ’20 bonds on May 20.  Bloomberg 

· ECB policymakers are holding a meeting on Thurs

· European finance ministers are meeting on Fri 

· FDIC releasing its qtrly bank report on Thurs

· GOOG – the co’s I/O conf continues Thurs; Schmidt will be giving a keynote

· Obama, Biden to meet with the Treasury Sec. Thursday – NBC
