Geithner holding call w/his G7 counterparts on Fri to discuss Greece and the European situation, although no action is expected. There were “furious” meetings held on Thurs between Geithner, Obama, and Bernanke, along w/all their senior advisors. When Geithner was alerted on Thurs that the Dow had plunged 800-900 points, he apparently told a deputy “that can’t be right”.
