Industrials/Energy/Materials/Outliers $CLF $FCX $MEE $TSL $CNH


  • HOV is off over 10%, leading the distressed names and other builders lower.
  • CNH is off over 6% despite reporting solid April sales numbers in their construction segments.
  • CBI and FLR are off 5-7%, leading oily E&Cs lower as crude falls near $70.
  • IRM is up over 2% after a competitor upgrade. Other business services stocks are up in accord.
  • CLF, X, AKS, FCX, and CENX are off 5-8% and leading metals lower as their respective commodities fall to multi month lows and on worries in China.
  • VAL is up over 2.5% on earnings this morning.
  • VHI is off over 10%, continuing to slide since announcing earnings a little over a week ago.
  • Fertilizers are off 3-5% on continued pricing concerns.
  • PTV is up 16% on reports in the WSJ that Apollo may make an LBO for the company. Other packagers are up in accord.
  • MEE is off over 10%, leading other coals lower as mining regulations continue to worry investors.
  • TSL is off 10%, leading solar stocks lower on worries of budget cuts in Europe.
