China’s leading rating agency strips Western nations of AAA status (this was out earlier on Mon) – Dagong Global Credit Rating on Mon introduced its first sovereign credit ratings, placing the US at AA while the UK and France were AA-. China was AA+ along w/Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada. China’s agency gives much greater weight to “wealth creating capacity”. London Telegraph
