German Banks -

German banks - Manfred Weber, the head of the Association of German Banks, told local radio that he was confident that German banks "all in all" would perform well at the tests – Reuters
· German - The German Finance Ministry does not expect it will need to take any action after the results of the European bank stress tests are announced later on Friday (Reuters)
· German Banks - Norddeutsche Landesbank, or NordLB, Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen, or Helaba, and Bayerische Landesbank, or BayernLB, have all passed the stress tests – DJ; a separate report (in FAZ) says that all the Landesbanks have passed the test
· Greek Banks - Greek Banks Seen With 5 Pass, One Fail In Stress Test; Greece's four leading private lenders--National Bank of Greece SA (NBG), EFG Eurobank Ergasias SA (EUROB.AT), Alpha Bank AS (ALPHA.AT) and Piraeus Bank SA (TPEIR.AT)--are considered well-capitalized. (DJ)
