JPMorgan view on Obama’s policy announcements - Wed afternoon President Obama proposed several economic stimulus measures. To jump to our conclusion, our Washington analysts think each of the measures may face serious obstacles making it through Congress. Even if they were to pass this hurdle, our own analysis suggests that the lift to growth would be fairly modest, and would not materially change our forecast.
